Work out a Speaking band from the four criteria
Enter the band an examiner gave for each of the four marking criteria.
BAND SCORE—
This one is exact. The rule is published by IELTS: add the four, divide by four, then round. A result ending in .25 goes up to the next half band and .75 goes up to the next whole band — so 6.25 becomes 6.5, and 6.75 becomes 7.0.
Knowing the number is the easy part.LoftPrep marks your practice tests, then tells you which question types are costing you the marks — not just how many you lost.
