Privacy
This platform's main promise is that your practice is yours. This page says exactly what that means, including the places where your work does leave your device.

What is collected
- Your email address, because it is how you sign in and how your access is recognised.
- Your test results — scores, bands, which answers were wrong — if you turn on private sync.
- Anything you send to be marked: an essay, a spoken answer, or a wrong answer you ask to have explained.
- A record of how much AI marking you have used, so monthly allowances can be counted.
There is no advertising, no tracking for advertising, and nothing is sold to anyone.
What never leaves your device
Your essay drafts, your typed answers and your speaking recordings are stored in your own browser. They are not visible to your teacher. If you clear your browser data they are gone, and nobody else has a copy.
One exception, because it would be dishonest to leave it out: when you ask for a spoken answer to be marked, that recording is sent to be turned into text. It is used for that and thrown away - no copy is stored anywhere - but at that moment it does leave your device. Nothing is sent unless you press the button.
Private sync, which is off unless you turn it on, copies your results, mistakes and vocabulary progress to your account so they follow you to another device. It does not copy your drafts or your recordings. Turning it off deletes the copy.
Who else sees it
- Supabase handles sign-in and holds your email address.
- Cloudflare hosts the platform and stores anything you sync. Speaking answers are turned into text by Cloudflare's speech service; the recording itself is not kept.
- Anthropic receives the text you ask to have marked — an essay, an answer, a question — at the moment you press the button, and returns the feedback. It is not sent at any other time.
- Telegram receives a copy of any feedback or review you send, including the email address you sent it from, because that is how the teacher is told about it.
A review you write is also kept here, and it stays unpublished until the teacher approves it. If it is published, the page shows the name and band you typed and nothing else - never your email address or anything connecting the review to your account.
What your teacher can and cannot see
Your teacher can see which plan you are on, how much AI marking you have used, and anything you deliberately send them through the feedback form or a review. They cannot see your essays, your recordings, your test scores or your mistakes.
To be exact about that last sentence: there is no screen anywhere in the platform that shows your work to anyone but you. Synced progress is stored in the platform's own database, which the teacher runs, so it is not hidden from them the way an encrypted message would be - it is simply never read, and nothing is built to read it. If that distinction matters to you, leave private sync off and your results stay on your device alone.
Keeping and deleting
Synced progress is kept until you turn sync off or ask for your account to be removed. Usage records are kept so that monthly allowances work. Ask at the address below to have your account and everything attached to it deleted, and it will be.
